After living through a summer and winter in their new home, the Murray family realized that their heating and cooling system was not up to snuff. The second story was hot in the summer and there were cold spots and high heating bills in the winter. The blower of their forced air furnace made a tremendous racket and air quality was also important to the health of their growing family:

"In the first home visit with Berry Mechanical, we went over everything. The design consultant was obviously enthusiastic about HVAC. He asked questions like what rooms are the warmest, and in what rooms do we spend the most time. He even measured the entire house to make certain our current system was set up with the correct BTU's and CFM (neither (competitor) nor our friend of a friend ever mentioned this!). The design consultant soon followed up with various proposals ranging from fixing our current furnace to replacing it. Everything was a line item which allowed my wife and I to pick and choose options (air filtration, humidification) that we wanted to fit our budget.

When the technicians came out to perform the work, I was pleased to meet one of the owners of Berry Mechanical. It was soon obvious that all of the Berry folks who showed up were as enthusiastic about what they do as their design consultant. They answered any question I had and gave me some great maintenance pointers. The team was incredibly courteous- shoes were removed every time they entered the living area. They were fast, friendly, and thorough. In no time our house was toasty and noise free! I would highly recommend Berry Mechanical to anyone. I only wish they did more than HVAC!"
